This video is old, but it’s still my all time most favorite simulation of someone using an FM system (aka remote microphone) It’s only 6 mins 16 seconds and I still will skip through and just show the clips for comparisons of listening at a distance, with noise, and with and without the FM.

A friend recently asked for help finding a book about a child getting a cochlear implant.
