This video is old, but it’s still my all time most favorite simulation of someone using an FM system (aka remote microphone) It’s only 6 mins 16 seconds and I still will skip through and just show the clips for comparisons of listening at a distance, with noise, and with and without the FM.

This video is also a game changer for parents and helping them see the benefit of FM/remote microphone systems. If you want to learn more about remote microphone technology, it’s one of my favorite topics and I did an in depth podcast episode discussing it in detail.

My second favorite video is by a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) mom of a DHH kid who works at Phonak. It’s more modern and shows how to use communication strategies and technology to optimize learning.
